Narrow, steep stairways a bit of a hassle to maneuver with luggage, but staff was quick to offer help at all times. The room was a comfortable size (important since we got rained out one day while the restaurant/pub were closed !) and nicely decorated. The bathroom is a bit small with a small sink and small shower, but plenty of hot water to warm up after getting caught in the rain. Breakfast was the fully cooked version and delicious - the ingredients all tasted fresh. We had dinner at the on premises pub and it too was delicious. The family who owns this hotel are very helpful and nice. The location is excellen in Malhamdale with easy acess to hiking trails. Wonderful nature just out of the door. The hotel has a pub so no need to leave the village in the evening although Malham is only a 20 min walk away.
