Loved it. Great spot with a superb pub 10 yards from the door. Good walks into nearby towns too.

Excellent accommodation. Can not fault it. Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Rooms are nice decorated and clean. Will be staying again.

Fabulous pub. Super modern clean room outside the main pub. Food delicious at dinner and breakfast and simply lovely staff! What a location just across from the station and in the middle of the 3 peaks. Outstanding!

The apartment was exceptionally clean, Close to the shops , parking a little tight with a larger car , had a lovely stay

Free car parking! Easy to find , nice modern bedroom , shower ,tv , coffee tea etc , We managed to get the key early , Breakfast was Cooked freshly for us .

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. What a lovely welcoming hotel in the centre of the village. Our dog had his own special treat on arrival of Posh dog wine. This made us all smile. I had let them know it was are anniversary and we also had a lovely surprise in our room. But oh my goodness the food it phenomenal from breakfast to lunch and then dinner WoW! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. We will be back

Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!

Decor, soft furnishings clean polite and friendly

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless. Room was lovely though

Good location for the National Park and good food.

Stayed a few times and host (Tony) is fantastic- great breakfast. Sadly won’t be staying again as being taken over by a shambles of a company who have made Tony redundant - SHAMBLES!

My wife and I stayed at Throstle Nest for 2 nights this week and had a great time.The Skiptonn area provides a lot to do and see and we found this Band B to be an excellent base.The setting is great with country views from the bedroom which was really well appointed with all facilities on tap.
