Stayed a few times and host (Tony) is fantastic- great breakfast. Sadly won’t be staying again as being taken over by a shambles of a company who have made Tony redundant - SHAMBLES!

Spent a full weekend here, the staff were absolutely amazing always in good spirits and happy to help. The food was amazing at both tea time and breakfast also. The room was very clean and also well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I think we will be coming here again.

Having read several less than complimentary reviews, I have to say this was a first class experience. Many rooms and most of interior are refurbished. Breakfast excellent. Great value for money and will definitely return.

Had a lovely stay. Very clèan rooms and comfortable beds. Nice to have 2 en-suite bathrooms. We arrived to find a box of Border biscuits - that was a nice touch. Thanks to the landlord

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. I was completely unprepared for the Grange , when I booked only as a bed for the night. It is an impressive Georgian edifice rendered friendly and comfortable by furnishings and smiles. The owners are like aunty and uncle who can't do enough for you, without intruding. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

Ashley was the best host. Very professional. We would definitely recommend Ashley and his lovely assistant Lisa, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We shall be staying there again. The breakfast is to die for, locally sourced and delicious. You could not ask for more it was all provided and presented with love. Great stay from check in through to check out. Spacious, modern rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Good location for shopping. Bit of a walk to FD Arena but just get an Uber!

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless. Room was lovely though

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. We stayed in room 410, it was a beautiful room, lovely decor & finish, a very good size too. Comfortable bed & bedding, the pillows were far to soft for our liking though. We were slightly dubious about potential noise as the room was next to the lift & across from the kitchen but it was surprisingly quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Jason & Katlyn in particular but all the Marriott Staff were genuinely friendly & attentive. The deluxe room was as depicted & described, with cleanliness levels to be applauded. The Marriott Leeds, I would highly recommended for its central location, the incredible staff, doorstep retail diversity, & global cuisine dinning options all within easy walking distance. We will be booking the Marriott Leeds again for our future visits to City.

We had a lovely welcome on our arrival last Friday. We were very impressed by our room (3) which had a very high standard of decoration. Our room (superior double) had a lovely king- sized bed as well as a very comfortable large sofa.
