The location is great, right in the heart of Settle. The bedrooms look recebtly refurbished with modern, yet countey style fittings. The room we had was pretty small but for one night this isn't an issue. The double bed was tiny! Only one window opened in the room, the other was stuck. We found this made it a little hot as the heating had been on very high. Had things not had to shut by 10pm, the room may have been loud as it overlooked the beer garden.
Staff were extremely nice, i was even loaned a brolly to take the dog out for an early morning walk. There was a big choice on the breakfast menu, but not much was vegetarian and nothig was vegan. Dinner was a similar issue! The food was good, but not great. Overall this made the room feel a little overpriced.
