From the photograph on the site it isn't clear that the Inn is part of a holiday complex, ie a site with static caravans and lodges. I thought I was booking a stay in a quiet Inn, however, when we arrived it was really busy, not what I expected at all for a romantic anniversary getaway.
Having said that the hosts were extremely welcoming and our room was away from the main part of the complex. It was very nicely decorated and tastefully furnished. The food in the restaurant was tasty, nicely cooked and presented. The portions were generous and the dishes were reasonabley priced. The service was good without being intrusive. Sadly our visit was cut short thanks to the great British weather, when all power to the Inn was cut overnight. There was only cereal and juice available as nothing could be cooked. There was no electricity to the rooms either, so we had to leave early which was a shame.
My only niggle with the room was how uncomfortable the pillows were. Only a small point but I did struggle to get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
