Loved everything about this hotel. Lovely thoughtful touches in the room - fan, radio, chocolate, nice shower products. Very comfortable and clean.

Really nice rooms - big and clean - including bathroom. Had dinner and breakfast too which were both good. Would recommend.

Great night in the New Forest. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Room on ground floor was really comfortable and super clean. It was a wet windy day in New forest so perfect excuse to sit in the comfy bar and enjoy the atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

I would recommend this hotel. We used it as a stop over before a cruise. It is very handy for the cruise terminal. The breakfast was an added bonus as it was included in the price.

The Room in the Garden is a lovely space, it was clean, the large bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and great, especially in the hot weather. In the room was a coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and milk and a TV. Outside was a lovely shaded patio where we enjoyed a welcome cup of tea when we arrived, and a freshly prepared, very tasty light breakfast the following morning. The owners and their dog were very friendly and helpful, providing a fan to cope with the heat...

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

We were blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were, every single one of them , I would highly recommend here and will definitely return , food is amazing , so much choice and large portions , we absolutely loved it .

I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.

An amazing experience and will definitely be returning. Every single employee treated me and my partner well and they went abohe and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. The food was fantastic and the best steak i have ever eaten. Big shoit out to Paul who worked there on making us feel at home.

This is the second time that I've stayed here as I have family nearby. Have enjoyed both times. The staff are always friendly and professional, the breakfasts are always fab and this time (with regards to the pandemic) they adapted to the changes very well. I was more than comfortable with the way the hotel was managed in terms of cleanliness and safety etc. Would recommend.
