Main building is very traditional with loads of character. Bedrooms were huge and more modern ( we chose 2xdouble beds) which were situated in a newer extension - so best of both worlds. We chose bed breakfast and dinner option which is great value- you just have to pay extra for the more expensive menu items ( understandable) We were v happy that hotel didn’t have a spa as we have discovered that spa hotels are always too busy looking after spa guests. Will definitely return to this hotel

We had a mezzanine level room and the mixture of old and new furnishings were very well combined, the bed was extremely comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast but we enjoyed using the restaurants in Leopold Square and availing of the partner discounts.

Good location. Parking fee should be inclusive of the room price. It looks odd to pay separately for parking.

Another smooth and pleasant stay at this ibis hotel. Met my expectations once again and look forward to my next stay here next week….beginning to feel like my 2nd home!!!

The Rutland is quiet and convenient for Sheffield town centre. A very comfortable double room with a well appointed bathroom provided an excellent stay.

Staff were very pleasant. We had a room with an adjoining door. Next door had kids. Although they weren’t noisy, you could hear every word, and banter. We’d had a long journey, and just wanted to sleep. The staff gave us another room straight away. The room is very clean, and upmarket. 5 stars from us.
