Interiors are well laid out - the open plan living is a lovely sociable space with a vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove and underfloor heating. Accommodation is over two floors, both bedrooms are beautifully furnished in a neutral palette. Outside there’s a lovely enclosed courtyard garden and parking for two cars.
Steading Cottage is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.
