"We chose the hotel for its location and the fact that there was parking. Other than checking in, we had no real interaction with the staff because we booked one of the apartments. It was ideal - bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with sitting/dining area. There was a small grocery store around the corner where we could buy supplies. We were only about a 10 -15 minute walk to York Minster and other interesting sights."

"This property is convenient to the train station, the wall, and walking around the city. Our room was in the basement(!), and it was comfortable. The bathroom was quite narrow and small. Happy hour specials are fantastic, and we enjoyed that. Breakfast was a zoo, but it had all the typical offerings. The gym was a good size with good equipment offerings. Wifi was strong for streaming."

"The Milner is missing the essential : a Good bed a good mattress and good cushions . Also could hear the noise next door train station due to poor window quality . So overall what I think about hotel negative I had a bad night and didn't sleep well . will never come back"

"This hotel is beautiful, great location at just 15minute walk into town centre. Charge to park the car but it was worth it to have it nice and safe for the two days we were there. Gorgeous area, lovely walk into town. Hotel decor is tasteful but unique, lots of effort has gone into making the place charming. Our room was the Chocolate Orange suite which I highly recommend, the four poster bed is fancy and the bath tub was divine, we have never bathed so much in such a short space of time! The staff were friendly and welcoming, always available when needed and seemed happy to help. I have already passed on recommendations to friends who have enquired after seeing our pictures from our stay. "
