"Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Easy to walk to from the railway station. Easy also to walk onto York centre to do tourist attractions. Loved the restaurant on the roof terrace. The downstairs restaurant was also excellent for dinner and for breakfast. We paid a little more for a club room which had a generous seating area and a city view."

"The hotel is is a great location and on a quiet street. Staff were very friendly and the room was lovely, a good size, very clean and with a really nice bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of options. I would definitely recommend it. "

"The hotel was nice enough to hold our two large suitcases, while we travelled to Edinburgh. I don't think we would have survived Edinburgh if we had to carry around that baggage. Weird thing with return was that the room was a ways from our previous room, but was bigger with a nice bathtub."

"Newly renovated and very close to York Minster and other attractions. Pleasant and friendly staff, nice room and ensuite bathroom. Secure and easy parking once you know the procedure. We very much enjoyed our stay here "
