Hotel and stores do not tell you that if you charge to the room you get a different exchange rate instead of the $20 pesos per US dollar that’s posted in the shops. Bed comfort was good. "We love the Barcelo Palace. This was our 2nd time booking to stay at the Palace. Upon check-in, we were told that our rooms were upgraded to the Riviera Adults Only resort. We were a little disappointed since we really enjoyed the Palace a few years ago. However, the Palace was very busy this week, and the Riviera was not nearly as crowded. It's a little more chill and low-key, but we really enjoyed it. The restaurants were amazing and it wasn't hard to make reservations. The bed was the largest King bed we'd ever seen. Overall, a wonderful week."
