"my vacation was ruined by both grand park and expedia. my husband at the last minute decided to stay home. we then experienced a blizzard and were delayed two days. each day i called grand park. told them i was delayed and that my husband would not be joining me. when i finally arrived on wednesday, they wouldn’t check me in because my name wasn’t on the reservation. not once during my previous calls did they inform me of that. they said i had to call expedia to get me added. i was on hold over two hours trying to reach Expedia. Grand park made me sit in the cold and wind even though my room was already paid for. then the expedia agent and the grand park agent both decided to be obstinate . both were completely ridiculous. my husband was even on the phone trying to get me my room. shame on you expedia and shame on you grand park. the customer service on both ends was atrocious. "

"Rooms were average. There were no towels in our room the first day so we had to request them from the front. There is virtually no service at any of the meals especially breakfast or lunch at the buffet. At dinner, we were lucky to get excellent service from Miguel. The bartender by the pier was always great and so were the towel team by the pool. The store/pharmacy inside the hotel is a rip-off but you pay for the convenience. You can also walk 10 minutes for more stores if you need something that would undoubtedly be less of a rip off. We enjoyed borrowing the snorkelling gear from the resort and did so most of the days. Overall, I believe it’s a place to be if you enjoy snorkelling or water activities like scuba diving and not so much focussed on resort services. "
