"There were 6 adults and 2 children in our group. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and were more than happy with its condition. It was very clean, spacious and had everything required for a self catering stay, although if I’m honest a 2 slice toaster is a bit of a challenge at breakfast time. 😬 The hotel itself is also very well looked after. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back."

"This flat is wonderful with amazing sea views. Well appointed and a good heating system. We had a lovely week discovering Bute. Recommend the weekly jam session at the Anchor At Port Ballantine. Most places accept dogs and there’s some good food to be had in local cafes and bars."

"Stayed here with my two kids, very clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and just an overall good aura about the place, and in the words of my 8 year old it should be a 5 star, shame about the jacuzzi now gone from the spa but can’t have it all. Will stay again "
