"I arrived after 8pm, but had been alerted in advance to the kitchen closing at that time, so had adjusted my meals accordingly. What a great welcome you get in this community-owned pub - you almost feel like a local! All six rooms look spotless and really comfortable. Mine looked out the back and towards fields and a hill. There was a basket full of drinks and sachets - including drinking chocolate, which seems to have vanished from most other hotels. And the en-suite was sparkling. It was great...

"Great hotel the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and again great size. The shower cubicle had some mould in the seal which was a shame. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
