Great location for getting out and about to see Durham. Lovely owners and everything there that you need including a lovely cake and milk and tea/coffee for a brew when you arrive! Decorated to a really high standard.

What a lovely little spot, we really enjoyed our time here, it had everything we needed and our dog absolutely loved it! Very clean, had all the essentials and had a pub close enough to wander down to.

Great location, good size all round, good shower, well equipped kitchen (inc. washing machine & detergent), comfortable, quiet, parking great, good value for money.

Everything was made so easy, the owner Paul was easy to correspond with, Thanks again

Wonderful house, spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Perfectly located for the shops and attractions. Would stay again

Stayed here for a last minute night out in Durham. lovely staff lovely food great facilities in a lovely area and more than worth the money! Will defiantly be returning soon!

A lovely cottage conveniently located within a stone’s throw of the castle and an easy walk of the Bowes Museum.

Very spacious well equipped cottage situated just off the main street of Barnard Castle right by the parish church. We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. The beds and furnishing were comfortable and would have no hesitation in reccommending the cottage to our friends and family

Lovely place to stay. Was just the two of us. We would say 2nd bedroom is suitable for children rather than infants or adults, due to steep stairs, and layout of the room. Teenagers would love it I'd imagine. Only thing that let it down slightly was the small seating area outside. Just needs a little TLC. A quick sweep out would have helped. Other than that Masham and this property well worth visit, if maybe slightly over priced.

Great little place to stay whilst attending a wedding at nearby Lake Henry. The lodge is immaculately clean and finished to a high spec. We received a fab little welcome pack too which meant breakfast on both mornings were sorted for us. It is so quiet and dark which enabled a great nights sleep too

Right on Pennine Way in lovely village. Ideally situated for sightseeing also with interesting places nearby.

Loved our stay at dove cove, so quite and relaxed, cleam tidy, very welcoming.

Enclosed and secure garden for the dog was a real plus, the cottage was very private with lovely views and all amenities. Check with was smooth and the host is lovely.

Cosy cottage, comfy beds, large fluffy towels, good heating, easy to control. Kitchen well stocked, utensils that worked( knives sharp, plenty of pots and pans) Great location for exploring the Yorkshire countryside, nice walk into Askrigg which has nice pubs, food, artisan shop. Owners responded to queries quickly . Note to tall people, watch your head on upstairs bathroom ( I am 150cm and banged my head). This added character to the cottage.

Smooth check in and communication with the host, was met at the cottage and given the keys and information about the village and local area. Rooms where clean, shower is very nice and beds very comfortable. All in all will definitely stay again when back working in the area.

Property was absolutely lovely, clean, warm and inviting
