It was fun flicking through old books in our room. All staff were great. The evening sharing platter in pub downstairs was delicious, as well as breakfast in a lovely Parrot room. It's too bad we didn't take a full rest day here as it's the biggest town on the trail. Accommodations were wonderful and staff was welcoming as we were dripping wet on arrival. Also the 2 twin beds were glorious and probably new (most are springs poking your body at the different stops). The breakfast avocado/eggs were delicious! The room was very cozy. Very friendly old, centrally located in Richmond coaching inn. The staff cannot be faulted for their service and welcome.
