"Stayed in a twin lodge room. Overall the room was clean comfortable and well maintained. The hotel had a lovely restaurant and bar area and is well located in the town centre. I was disappointed with a few things however and expected more for the price of the hotel: The breakfast costs £15 and the portions are very small with a limited buffet option. The breakfast staff were not particularly welcoming and got the order wrong on both days we stayed. I recommend not paying for breakfast in advance to keep your options open. The single beds in our twin were very small. Narrower than a standard single and the mattress were not very supportive so I didn’t get a great nights sleep during my stay. Overall disappointed with my stay and think there are better value options available. "

"Didn't had my breakfast had to leave earlier but evening meal wass spot on. Great staff, clean rooms also plenty of space in pub, im sure they have 4 different rooms where you can sit and enjoy your meal/drink and big beer garden are. Very good location spot on."

"Very good location for shops etc we enjoyed everything about this small hotel very clean and very welcoming breakfastgood selection probably suit most people lady in charge very nice to get along with and very pleasant. "

"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable. The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place. Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention. ."
