Just checked out after a 2 day stay, great location and good value for money. Staff are excellent friendly and helpful. 20 mins from morpha nefyn for golf so perfect if you want a good location and a good brekfast to start the day. Well done Lion Hotel, very happy

It is an old Hotel but it is well maintained The staff are young and on top of their job and very polite and helpful The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable as is the bar and lounge The food is very well prepared and tasty Our room was well looked after by the staff as we were there for 3 nights All in All no complaints at all

Wonderful stay! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and lovely and warm after a day walking in the rain! Food was great and staff very attentive. Wonderful views, very peaceful and the cabana was a bit different which the kids loved especially going up the ladder to bed.

Booked 2 family rooms for 8 people. Both rooms were a good size with ensuite facilities - one with an adjoining room for the children; the other with a bunk bed - very clean. Tea/coffee/biscuits/kettle in room. Rural setting, but easy to find. Delicious breakfast served 7.30-9 (traditional cooked breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, tea/coffee/juice). Castle Cottage Inn had a really friendly reception when we arrived and we were able to book in early. Excellent room, great meal in the evening & breakfast. Is rate hotel and service. I would recommend to any one visiting the area on holiday or playing golf at the St Davids golf course.

Real old world hotel done in the period of the 1800's welsh slate industry. Very comfortable, food excellent, staff excellent.

Possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed in a while. Staff were lovely. The pub on site had a real community feel and did a lovely pie and mash. Was very close to Snowdon making a sunrise hike possible and the amenities such as water and snacks were lovely. Overall one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and would recommend to travelers in the area

The property was in a beautiful and hidden location. It had everything you need for a few nights stay, even an iron (which we had brought with us). Lovely and relaxing place to stay. Only negative I have was the play area for the children. My toddler couldn’t access the small playground. So maybe that needs developing but she did enjoy the walks and streams! I would go there again without a thought.
