"Clean overall but feels tired and dated (appears things are in progress?) especially in the kitchen, with Mismatched crockery and glasses, blunt knives (a bit dangerous when cutting). I know that Covid has stopped a lot of things but the lack of basic things like salt & pepper is frustrating. No plastic items for outside use, always needed especially if children around. "This is a really great place to stay. It's literally a stones throw from the beach and a short walk to Criccieth high street. The house is very spacious with a well equipped modern kitchen. The furnishings are tasteful and the bedrooms have plenty of storage. The owner is friendly and helpful and kindly left us a small welcome pack of Welsh goodies. I have no hesitation in recommending it and would be happy to return if it was available."

"“Holiday started off badly when owner told us we had to take our own bed linen (king size, double and 4 singles) + towels with us.” Apparently there was issue with cleaners so suddenly became our problem somehow. Had to pack this in an already over packed car. Offered a £50 refund which was a bit of a joke given the hassle. Nice enough house up a very steep road. "We had a lovely stay here with our baby and toddler. The location was excellent just a short walk to the beach, and the castle was directly opposite, which looked beautiful lit up at night. There were plenty of nearby shops, cafés and places to grab breakfast, food and ice cream, making everything really convenient. It’s also a great spot for anyone who enjoys fishing. The only downside was that the hotel was a little run down and could do with some updating. However, it wasn’t particularly dirty and was perfectly fine for somewhere to sleep while spending most of the day exploring the local area. As a family with a baby and toddler, the location made everything easy and accessible. Overall, it’s a great base and reasonably priced if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay while visiting the nearby attractions."

"We stayed in an apartment with our three children. It was lovely and clean and perfect for us. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. The apartment was really well stocked with cutlery and plates cups etc. No issues with anything the apartment was really tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful. Good selection of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The hot selection was plentiful and tasty. Really good location not far from local amenities and a pebble beach, quick drive to portmadog."
