"Hotel was good and convenient for the city centre, the room (43) we were given was right by the Ipswich Road so was a little noisy. The room itself was excellent, the huge walk-in shower was a bonus. Considering the warm weather the quilt on the bed was a bit thick and we ended up taking it out of the cover. The only downside was that because we had booked through Hotels.com we were charged a £6 a night parking fee whereas if we had gone direct this would have been waived, a bit greedy considering the problems that hospitality is going through. Guess next year we will book direct!"

"We had a very enjoyable stay - excellent room facilities, breakfast, staff service and general amenity. One query was not being able to include our ten nights on the IHG Rewards despite booking at an IHG hotel! As regular travellers this was disappointing. Stuart & Margaret Walker"

"Room was fabulous and clean. Staff were helpful. Lack of accessible mirror with good lighting in the bathroom meant putting in contact lenses was impossible. Breakfast was disappointing. When taken to our table one of the saucers had drips of tea all over it and when collecting our food a few of the ‘clean’ plates were not clean. Food was nothing special, no better than Premier inn. To be fair we didn’t order off the separate menu. Attention to detail at breakfast was a bit lacking for a high caliber hotel."
