Buffet breakfast was a surprising hit with our family (hotel buffets are usually mediocre from my experience but food was terrific here - totally recommend, great way to start the day). "Compared to the 2 other places we stayed in Japan, this was the biggest, size wise. There were 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundryroom attached to a shower room, a kitchen attached to a living room area with a small balcony, and a traditional style sitting room. I may highly consider making this home base for the next trip. The check-in process was a bit strange since there are no people staffing the building, but follow the email instructions, and its easy enough."

"Absolutely loved tatami floor mats through out. The onsen was relaxing and clean, we enjoyed using it as much as we could. The massage chairs where very popular but worth the wait for that 15min massage after walking all day. The onsite laundry room came in handy and was easy to use. And you have to try the traditional Japanese breakfast at least once during your stay. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we will be booking here again in the future."
