The rooms themselves were okay, as the space of the room made it quite cramped to walk around. The bed mattress was very hard, and the pillows were too soft, so there were some nights where I woke up with a strained neck and shoulders. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay :)."

Explore EXPO Park
For a glimpse of all that Japan has to offer wrapped up in one attraction, you could stay near EXPO Park. About half an hour north of Shin-Osaka, the park occupies the site of the 1970 Japan World Exposition. You can still see some of the original exhibits, including the Japanese Garden, Japan Folk Crafts Museum and the 65-metre high Tower of the Sun. There’s also a host of sporting facilities, hot springs, a treetop walkway, the National Museum of Ethnology and the International Institute for Children’s Literature.
