"We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. "

"We loved our stay at Swallows Lodge. The view over Derwent Water is breathtaking. The lodge is very well equipped, very warm and cosy with plenty of space. The tumbler drier definitely a bonus! We hope to be back. (Some outdoor furniture would be a great addition)."

"The views were incredible, the trout ponds were fascinating, we took a fishing lesson on our first day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cafe is super convenient and all the staff were friendly and approachable! Our only hang up was that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable and the accommodation wasn't kitted out very well for cooking dinner so we ate out and got a couple of easy ready meals instead (pans were very small and there were no cutting knives to prep meals with) - otherwise, 5*!"
