"It was a lovely hotel, with friendly staff. The room was beautiful, a little noisy from the room above on the first night of our stay (which kept our little boy awake). However this did not affect how much we loved this hotel. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Not to mention the brilliant location. We would have loved the tipi to have been up so will definitely return once that is in place. We stayed in the Loughrigg suite - A great small addition would be some coat hangers behind the door upon entry to hang outdoor coats but everything else was perfect. "

"A beautiful property with everything you need. The spa was very small but we ended up being the only two people in there from 18:30 till 20:00. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was lovely. The staff were attentive and helpful. A really lovely last minute getaway. "
