We had a fantastic stay in the Tower at Faside Castle. This is an incredibly interesting property with both a fascinating old and very recent history. The space for guests is huge. We saw a very large sitting room on the website and guessed this was general room for all guests, but it is actual a private room for the exclusive us of the Tower guests only (plus a very large ensuite bedroom, and very large double bed). A great weekend away for my husbands birthday. The hotel is easy to find. Staff, through all levels, were very professional, courteous and made you feel very welcome. Our room was spotless but next time we stay we will probably pay extra so we can try one of the suites. Food was to a very high standard. Great hotel in Musselburgh, close to Joppa and Portobello beach. Lovely staff and great breakfast Busy pub serving meals Booked double room and was allocated huge family room, toiletries included with tea and coffee facilities Bus stop outside takes about 30 minutes to Waverley Station Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. The staff were so helpful and very welcoming. You helped make my husbands birthday treat a very special memory. Thank you !

I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Townhouse Suite which was larger than our London flat! By far the best value for money we have ever got from a hotel room. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The onsite "honesty shop" was also very well stocked with a range of food and drinks with a lovely lounge area to enjoy them in. We have already booked this hotel again for our next trip to Edinburgh.

An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

Great stay and dog friendly.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Wonderful stylish hotel just opened so very clean and fresh. My room was an apartment with kitchenette (I don't think there is a dining room), high quality spacious bathroom and very high speed WiFi. Staff pleasant, location central and good bar/cafe area. I wanted to stay longer and will definitely stay next time.

Loved our stay here. Apartment was incredible, we could stay in it all day! Our favourite location in Edinburgh for bars restaurants etc. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to return.

The location of Roomzzz is very convenient and easy to find. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they were also very interactive with our toddler. The room itself was perfect for what we needed for our stay. It was spacious so there was plenty of room for our toddler to roam around, and well equipped with a kitchen and large bathroom. Nice touch with fresh pastries being provided in the morning and the coffee machine is available to use free of charge 24/7. Hot chocolate...

A lovely old house kept in great condition. Our room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. A great breakfast set us up for the day. The proprietors were friendly and helpful.
