"What an amazing place, the location was amazing as well. We had the best night away and are already looking at coming back next year for longer as 1 night was just now enough time. The cottage was clean, everything was provided for the hot tub which was lovely, warm and private. Thank you so much. Staff were so welcoming and very nice as well. We loved every part of the cottage it was stunning."

"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto the floor."

"The worst stay I’ve had. I didn’t plan to write a review but have been brushed off by hotel so here we are. Should I start with finding a chicken bone in my burger and being met with a shrug, the later told the kitchen was aware of the issue and that it had happened to another customer previously? Or the over 2.5 hours to serve a table of 3 in a half empty restaurant? Or the finding of a full burger bun under our table (not mine…) Or the constant noise from squeaky floorboards above us or bin lorries outside our window? Or the almost empty and rotten breakfast in the morning? Or having to literally climb over (staff watching) what looked like a full breakfast chucked on the floor to get our table? Or asking for access to the pool with a young child, being shown the changing rooms and how to access the pool, only to be thrown out of said pool with no warning 10 minutes later due to a class starting? Any one of these issues on their own (had they been handled with decency) would be a small inconvenience, however all of them in the one place, led to an expensive disaster. (The reception staff were truly lovely, the only saving grace of the weekend). The lack of response that I have tried to gain via Hotel.com complaints process from the hotel on this matter is frankly shocking. I would advise taking a look through the similar reviews and re-considering before booking this hotel, and I will not be giving any custom to any hotels under the Manorview banner going forward."

"Arrived and was shown around the property how to use all the facilities. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 child. Location is perfect -30 minutes to Glasgow and 45 mins to Loch Lomond. Hot tub & sauna facilities both great. Fully stocked kitchen with washing machine dishwasher etc: we didnâ€™t use these but perfect for guests staying longer. We only wished we was here longer at the propertyMuseum with cars on site and a bar ( not open when we visit - Sunday afternoon) Also horse field paddock- stables to have walking around . Gated property and the Parlour had ample parking for 4 cars . Perfectly safe and relaxing ."

"This property was chosen due to proximity to where we were visiting and because of the range of rooms. The property itself is modern and clean, the bedrooms were good with a variety of beds allowing for a family to stay. The crockery was a little random with no actual set but random pieces, as we only ate breakfast in the property this was not a huge problem. The bathrooms were good, modern fittings and clean with towels provided, bath mats could have been helpful. The curtains were thin so eye masks would have helped. The biggest issue is the poor communication from the host. An email to say that the details for entry would be sent on the afternoon of check in would have helped relieve some anxiety. A deposit has to be paid to the owner, unfortunately they provide no clarity about how long after leaving the property it will be before this will be refunded, we left on a Sunday and still not received it over 4 days later and limited response to emails. There are eating options within walking distance, and a co-op within a short walk."
