"Slaley is a grand hotel, outdated in parts, but don't let this put you off. Check in was quick, room spacious and clean. Nice view over looking the driveway. Bars were good and not to expensive. Breakfast was ok,food was fine, but kept running bout. lots of guests and the coffee machines kept running out aswell. Leisure facilities were good, could do with more loungers, but its finding places to put them. Overall had a good might away. Would stay again"

"We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all lovely. The hotel is tired and could do with a refurb. However it was clean and the food, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, was of a high standard.
