Whately Hall

"Whatley Hall is a beautiful hotel, our room had been recently refurbished and was excellent, large bedroom with a large sitting room. The shower was really good and in general was extremely clean, however there was a clump of hair that had kindly been left by a previous guest on the wall in the shower, we reported it to reception but nothing was done about it! Bit disappointed! Breakfast was good, everything that you needed all freshly cooked, would have liked a bit more fresh fruit. The staff were okay."

"This a lovely Hotel in a peaceful setting. Attractive and comfortable lounge and bar areas, as well as an outside space for good weather. Very good choices for a cooked breakfast. Our Room was a little small though fine for the one night stay. A Shame the Kitchen closes comparatively early - for Summer days/evenings, with no back-up Room service . More than happy to stay again."
