"Stay was amazing, beach access the pool just everything amenity wise was fantastic. My only “complaint” would be some of the general maintenance, I stayed in two different towers in two different rooms and the shower doors and bathroom glass door doesn’t close. The shower door being open caused water to get everywhere. Can definitely tell the hotels been around awhile with some things not kept up on like grout cleanliness or flooring in the lobby having black dirt around the edges of nice pretty while tile, for what I paid a night I expected maybe working bathroom doors. Other then those small issues our stay was great and staff was amazing, i would definitely recommend or return."

"The hotel was nice and clean. I did not have notice that the master bedroom did not have a door. That’s definitely awkward traveling with kids! The restaurant and bar adds tips automatically to your bill and the bell hop staff asks for tips right away. There are no other places to eat anywhere near this hotel. The beach would have been nicer if it wasn’t full of seaweed. The hotels in Mexico clean their beaches and Miami doesn’t?"

"The staff at The Beacon are FANTASTIC! They take customer service to a whole new level. Everything we asked for, they delivered immediately and followed up to ensure we were all set. Outstanding staff all around! The building is historic, I get it. But updates are necessary. The hallways don’t have the best smell. We noticed mold on one of the walls in the main hallway of the 2nd floor. This is definitely a health hazard so I hope it’s addressed sooner than later; especially since the guests range from infants to seniors. Safety first! The air conditioner system is outdated and even though we set it to 72°F, we woke up in the middle of night at it being 66° and freezing! The filter lights were on too indicating maintenance was needed. Luckily, we were out most of the time until late, but those feeder alerts were no joke! Outside of that, we loved the convenience of being on Ocean Dr, having a CVS next door and the gorgeous beach across the street. The food options were fantastic as well. Getting Lyft/U er was easy too because of the location. Thank you, Beacon, all in all, we had a LOVELY time! Huge hugs to all the staff! Gracias!"
