This hotel should be a 4 star... even though this hotel doesn’t have a pool and spa facilities, you CANNOT fault this hotel. It was slap bang in the middle the old town, there was a fantastic restaurant next door as well as a quirky cafe.
The rooms were so modern and ABSOLUTELY spotless. You could literally lick the floor (if you’re into that kind of thing! Lol).
I must say, the mood lighting was my personal favourite. You could turn your room lights from red, to blue, purple etc etc. It...

Stayed for 1 week in October 2016 on a bed and breakfast basis. Chose hotel for its proximity both to the facilities of Sorrento and the outlook over the Bay of Naples. A 5 - 10 minute level walk leads you to the many bars, restaurants and shops that the town has to offer. It's also close to the bus and Circumvesuviana train stations from which the city of Naples, tours to Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast and the ruins at Pompei and Herculaneum can be easily (and cheaply) accessed. My second time in Sorrento and it only gets better. We just had a basic room but could not fault a thing. Hotel has amazing views with regular transport to Sorrento centre which takes about 5 mins. Though we did walk a few times and takes about 15 mins. Staff could not do more for you and good that we had in hotel was 1st class. A wonderful sample of Italian culture

My recent stay was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service.
The room itself was a haven of comfort – spacious, well-decorated.
One of the standout features of the hotel is its dining options. The on-site restaurant proved to be a culinary delight and if you eat in the outside area you will sense a peculiar and truly cosy atmosphere.

The Hotel Margherita was recommended to us by a friend who visited last year and I am delighted to say that we found that his glowing report was not an exaggeration.
On arrival the friendly staff came out, took the luggage up to the room and parked the car in the garage. Lovely property and the team were so helpful during our stay , some of the best service we have had as well as them bookings us in at one the few restaurant that was open. The breakfast is varied and amazing, we had an early checkout and even supplied the breakfast early for my partner who is pregnant to ensure she had something to eat. The view was beautiful from the room and will definitely stay here again for sure!

A little out from Pompeii but Hotel runs shuttle for small expense to Herculaneum, Train Station and excavation sites. Family run excellent facilities, VERY clean rooms and reasonably priced restaurant with tasty breakfast but mainly continental with added scrambled eggs and bacon. Hotel is NOT walking distance to any pompeii attractions and/or station but shuttle will drop you off at nearest train station.

What an incredible view this was a perfect hotel to look out over the bay. There was a regular bus down to the town and a 20 min walk so we walked down and took the bus back. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Wonderful, friendly and happy hotel! Very welcoming people, amazing views from the pool and the rooms. The VW beetle which we borrowed was amazing. It is easy to explore Positano from the hotel and the staff explained very well where we should go.

The hotel was wonderful, the grounds and inside beautiful all facilities were superb. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice and all waiters really took care and looked after us. Rooms were lovely and room service excellent. All the staff made us feel welcome and were amazing at giving us advice and help especially as we had several problems with lost luggage and a car problem did everything they possibly could to help us. Nothing Wes too much bother. We loved our stay and will go back and...

This is a very lovely hotel (don't be fooled by its name - it's no hostel!) which has everything you need. Tasty breakfast, rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Great hospitality from the staff. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, and will not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a brief stop at this unique hotel on the way down to Sorrento. The hotel served a lovely breakfast in the stunning garden and then we were able to use the spa facilities before leaving for the ferry. The receptionist was very helpful and the hotel a short walk from great restaurants and bars.
