Our family visited the hotel in August. The hotel is well located a short walk from the town center and its many restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is well appointed and spotlessly clean. The facilities are ideal with two swimming pools, one on the roof for those seeking sun and one in the garden which is more shaded (but beware mosquitoes in the morning and evening). The breakfast was very good. The gym was modern and clean - they limit the number of people using this to four at a time to avoid overcrowding. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.

Grand Hotel De La Ville was a beautiful place to stay and a wonderful part of our trip. The property was elegant, immaculate, and very well maintained. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The food and breakfast buffet were excellent! The location was also incredibly safe and convenient for exploring the area. From the accommodations to the cleanliness and setting, everything made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Everyone there was polite and responsive. Communication was excellent. I would happily return and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a beautiful hotel and great location. Walking distance from the square with some great shops along the way. We, actually were staying for two nights and ended up staying two extra we enjoyed it so much. The staff are all very helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet was enormous something for everyone. The rooms are very clean with a big shower and all rooms have a patio. The sea view if fabulous, if you get one of these rooms you will be spoiled. Can't wait to go back next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Our room was beautiful, and the view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. The staff was so helpful and helped us to create a wonderful itinerary of events while we were there. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just a short walk to all the shops in downtown area, but away from all the chaos. We loved the breakfasts each morning on the beautiful outdoor terrace and the food was fantastic. The upstairs pool on the sun deck was the perfect place to relax have a drink and enjoy the views. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the area of Sorrento.

I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. We have been traveling all over Italy and this by far has been the nicest. Very elegant. Rooms are a decent size. Always a bit tight, but there are 3 of us in the room. Breakfast buffet also impressive. Hot and cold buffet. All in all our family loved it and will be back.

Hotel was lovely, great location, staff couldn’t have felt friendlier, breakfast lovely. Only challenge was the air con was on heating and doesn’t change to cooling till May - so a warm April meant the rooms were very warm for sleeping.

Excellent hotel with amazing kind and friendly staff. The facilities were well kept and cleaned continuously so everything was sparkling. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast included a made to order egg station which is definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel and would return again when in the area.
