We stayed 4 nights and we absolutely love the place, staff and rooms. The breakfast was amazing as well as the coktails and wine. Regarding the massages and the SPA, it was also our best experience. We had a blast and we will be back for sure. Thank you guys!!!

Wonderful friendly people and a beautiful hotel. Everything felt brand new, really well decorated in all area lovely garden area to sit and drink. Less than 5 mins walk to the beach and beach clubs. Great to have parking too. The people were really lovely here and their dog was sweet and friendly too. Thoroughly recommend La Fornace for a relaxing break.

My recent stay was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The room itself was a haven of comfort – spacious, well-decorated. One of the standout features of the hotel is its dining options. The on-site restaurant proved to be a culinary delight and if you eat in the outside area you will sense a peculiar and truly cosy atmosphere. Location-wise, the place is perfectly situated. It’s just a short walk to the beaches (the Hotel has a private one) and 20 minutes drive from Sorrento. The SPA staff (Anna in particular) provided excellent and professional service.

We had a fantastic time staying at this place! The room was clean, recently updated and quite spacious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of pastries, fruits and fresh coffee. The beach club is only a few minutes walk (with a fantastic pizza restaurant), and parking was included (which was a must for us since we've rented a car). I would definitely stay there again! Things to be aware of: this hotel is close to the main road, so it can get quite noisy if you leave the windows open. Also, the parking lot is a minute walk away, so unloading/loading bags, if you have many, can be a challenge. Finally, it's on a ground level, so there were quite a few mosquitoes (wear long sleeves if having dinner on the terrace or in their restaurant).

Highly recommend!!!

The ladies here are phenomenal. They do their very best to make sure you feel invited, comfortable, and taken care of! They called the cab for us, they ordered pizza delivery for us, and even let us use their wall plug because we did not bring an EU outlet with us. The suite is so unique and I highly recommend to book it or any room here! It is south of Pompeii and Naples but do not let that deter you!! We were kind of apprehensive to book because of that but we are glad we decided to come here! Be forewarned the suite is only accessible by like 3 flights of stairs lol. Breakfast this morning was a variety of pastries, espressos, and some fresh scrambled eggs. Great place, great stay.

Lovely hotel with great customer service

We stayed 6 nights in this lovely hotel. The location of the hotel was next to the beach where a good restaurant was located as well. The hotel had great customer service. The only downside was that it was difficult to sleep because of the noise coming from outside (busy road next door), and the buses go quite rarely, so a car could be a good option.

Stay was amazing. The suite is so unique and we are glad we rebooked the hotel after canceling in 2020 due to Covid. Not a lot of good choices in the area. We had a car so that wasn’t a problem for us. Restaurant on-site was very good just not where I would choose to eat every night. Breakfast was included and excellent.

It's OK, not great

I really wanted to like this place more. But it is let down by a few things. Firstly, the good ... our room was a junior suite and was a good size with a new and clean bathroom and plenty of space. The whole property is very small, only 6 rooms, but very nicely decorated and very clean throughout. But things to know before you book ... the location is not great. It is on a main road, the parking is a few hundred metres down the road, there is a beach opposite, over the main road which is nice with pebbles instead of sand and a couple of restaurants to eat at. You need a car to stay here. It is close to Pompeii and Vesuvius but an hour from Sorrento and longer to Positano. None of the staff speak English and the main lady has a rather brusque manner which can be off putting. We asked for extra towels but were told that as they had been changed that morning, we weren't allowed more. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant, which is in a very small brick converted furnace and it was one of the worst meals we've ever had. We were the only customers that night and were told that the sea bass that we wanted was finished, which we couldn't understand. As this was the only vegetarian option, we ended up with some whole fish fried which was inedible. It's not a 'bad' hotel, it just feels as though it's not run very well and it could be better.
