Discover the stories and faces behind Liverpool’s fascinating maritime history at this dedicated museum, right in the heart of the Albert Dock cultural precinct.

During the early 20th century, Liverpool was considered Britain’s "gateway to the world." It was home to one of the biggest ports in Europe, and the busiest in the United Kingdom.
