"Clean and good service "

"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There was also a huge generator outside, and the loading bay was noisy. (room 6 - junior suite) "

"The best part was the early opening of the.swimming pool etc. without children till 0800. lovely pool, good layout, and receptionist very pleasant. Other staff all very helpful, too. Will be back again, enabled us to explore Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean."

Breakfast was very comprehensive and beautifully prepared, and the staff very helpful. "We really enjoyed our stay. The room and food was lovely. The spa is quite small but nice. The only thing I would say is there were dirty cups and plates around the pool area and the service in the evening was very slow."

"We had a lovely night at this hotel when attending one night at the 2000 Trees festival nearby. The girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. All were very clean. Our room was soa ious enough for 3 adults. The air con was very welcome in the 30 degree heat outside and the beds were super comfy. We would not hesitate to come back."
