"If you like old buildings, well maintained and fitted with a smart hotel stylish bathroom, excellent view over the dale, this is the one. It is in the hamlet of Newbiggin on a quiet road amongst other attractive cottages. Loads of space for 2, 4 would be fine but I think 6 adults would rather cosy in the lounge and with just one loo & bathroom, albeit a very smart one."

"We booked for a base as an Easter getaway with walks from the doorstep. It was Perfect, the property has allocated packing right outside the front door, it was clean, everything we needed was there! A lovely garden area to sit and relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine after a long walk in the dales! The property was in a quiet courtyard/lane just a few steps away from the main Grassington Square! Would definitely return."

"We really enjoyed this property and its location. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. The views of the sheep fields and Blacko Tower beyond are a treat. "Beautiful cosy and comfortable cottage ideally situated in the glorious setting of Grassington. Local pubs and food were great. People very friendly and welcoming. Stunning scenery and even managed to see Wharfdale play rugby on Saturday (yes they won). Would definitely come back, almost forgot an epic trip to Wensleydale to the cheese makers. Absolutely fascinating and lots of cheese purchased"

"Turning into the drive, we were met with daffodils, sheep and lambs - calm, relaxing. Then, entering the cottage we were met with fresh scones and a lovely welcome hamper. After a day out exploring we enjoyed sitting by the log burner with a glass of wine. There are easy walks from the door, convenient for quality shops in Harrogate with many historic sites nearby. Andy and Sue were excellent hosts, keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Will hopefully return on future visits from Canada."

"We had a very pleasant stay here. The property is very well maintained, clean, has modern facilities, and is a good size for a family of four. Steve was very welcoming and the farm had plenty of animals with feeding opportunities. The converted barn is well located in the heart of Wensleydale, so is a great base for visiting the surrounding dales. Can definitely recommend it."

"Bramble Cottage is in a beautiful location on the edge of a small hamlet, with an amazing rural view. It is very cosy and comfortable, well set up with the feeling of a family home. Skipton is a big town close by with everything you need, and there are wonderful walking tracks everywhere. We loved our stay."

"We enjoyed staying at Lyndale House. The house was very clean and we all loved having our own room with ensuite.The beds were really comfortable. There was a very well equiped kitchen with many basic ingredients provided. The house was really well located at the bottom of the Main Street. The only negative for us was having no where outside, at the house, to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. This would not be an issue if the weather had not been so good!"

"My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village."
