"A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away."

"comfortable clean cozy and very tidy, with great views across the valley to Whernside, wish we could have stayed longer maybe next time, The kitchen was well maintained and had all you needed, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The dark night was amazing coming from a town we dont see dark like that! Glad we taken our SUV and not the hatchback as we would have struggled on the bumpy roads due to its very low front end."

"This is a very nice place to stay and the Inn over the road is a great place to eat. The rooms and communal areas have been very tastefully decorated and it is very comfortable. Only one point, some of the rooms overlook a road which is surprisingly busy even in the middle of the night - not great if you are a light sleeper."
