"Lovely location and a very welcoming hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and the room was spacious with good amenities and very accessible. The hotel is dog-friendly and our room was perfect with an external “patio” door giving access to the large and very nice garden."

Stayed for one night, tried for two but was fully booked. Apart from one mishap where the shower drain would not drain away and when it did it left gunge on the floor of the shower.
However that would not deter us from staying again. Staff were excellent food was out of this world. Best night sleep l have ever had due to a bed that was 100%. Would recommend to anyone that wanted to stay in Moreton in Marsh.

Stayed for just one night, but was given an upgrade.
Our room, 15, was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
Had everything in it you would need.
The breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

This hotel was exceptional. The best hotel I've stayed in.
We spent 4 nights for our wedding anniversary and wanted to visit The Cotwalds.
Absolutely stunning setting. So peaceful. The view from our room was beautiful too. It was all a divine stay from start to finish.
The beds were so comfortable, the shower was AMAZING!! The room facilities were top class. The breakfast was top quality and if you wanted to make changes, nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough

We were wedding guests at the nearby Hyde Barn. We chose it because it was over the road. It is within walking distance but there is no pavement and it’s a pretty busy road so we drove there and walked back when the road was quieter although pretty dark.
We were in room 201 and it was lovely and cool even though it was 30 degrees. It was quiet at night despite being so close to a main road. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing but overall it was a great stay

We had a fantastic time at the Lords of the Manor, it really is an exceptional hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. They were especially accommodating with our dog who stayed with us. The hotel gardens are huge and we’re a lot bigger than we thought, stretching down to the river. It’s a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

We have stayed at this hotel before prior to the refurbishment and loved it then. Even better now with the modern atrium brasserie. Chose this location to celebrate 'special' birthdays and the meal surpassed expectations. The hotel has a great atmosphere and the staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming. And the breakfasts ... we had eggs florentine which were cooked to perfection!

We stayed four nights. I was anxious prior to going to this hotel because of some negative reviews that I read. However, we did not experience any of the negative attributions that I read about. The staff were very welcoming and helpful despite being very busy. There were certain Covid 19 related changes but these did not affect our stay at this hotel. We understood these changes and appreciated the adjustment made. We had no trouble getting clean replacement towels and bedding and a hair dryer...

The hotel is charming, elegant and comfortable in a wonderful setting. The restaurant service is excellent.
A couple of small points. It would be an addition to one of the 3 lounges if a bar were installed to add further atmosphere particularly in the evening. I was not asked if I would like a news paper in the morning, which I subsequently learnt was included in the rate. The coffee in the morning breakfast was very weak. Would I return? definitely.

It is hard to think of any way our stay at the Noel Arms could have been improved.
Parking is easy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and our room was delightful. It was clean, well-appointed, well-equipped and quiet. No noise from other rooms or other guests, just a pleasant view down into the courtyard: in the morning we enjoyed seeing walkers gathering for a day's hiking, children on their way to school and locals meeting for a chat as they walked their dogs. We ate in the restaurant one...

Great base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds with very welcoming and friendly staff. Good choice of food well presented and a lovely lounge with roaring log fire to relax in ( when not taken over by the Pudding Club). Our only disappointment was the size of our room and small bed.

The best area to stay in Lower Lemington is the village centre, particularly around The Green, for its convenience and access to local amenities.
This area is the heart of the village, offering a traditional English countryside experience. The Green itself is a focal point, often surrounded by historic cottages and a local pub. It's very walkable, allowing you to easily explore the village's quaint lanes and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find the village centre ideal. You'll be within easy reach of charming eateries for intimate dinners and have direct access to footpaths for scenic walks through the surrounding fields and woodlands. Many guesthouses in this area provide a cosy, personal touch.
Families might also consider staying slightly outside the immediate village centre, towards the edge of the parish. Here, you can often find larger holiday cottages with more space and private gardens, offering a good base for exploring the wider Cotswolds region while still being a short stroll from Lower Lemington's amenities.
When is the best time to go to Lower Lemington?
The best time to go to Lower Lemington is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to September, when the weather is generally at its finest.
During this period, you can expect longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures, which are superb for exploring the picturesque Cotswolds countryside. The local gardens and villages, such as those found in nearby Chipping Campden or Stow-on-the-Wold, are in full bloom, making for truly stunning scenery. It's an ideal time for outdoor activities like walking or cycling along the many public footpaths.
Couples looking for a romantic escape will find these months particularly appealing. The pleasant weather allows for leisurely strolls through honey-coloured villages, enjoying al fresco dining, and visiting historic sites without the chill of winter. Many local events and festivals also take place during the summer, offering additional entertainment.
Families travelling with children will also appreciate the summer. The milder weather makes it easier to enjoy attractions like the Cotswold Wildlife Park or the numerous open farms in the region.
