A better stay than last time

"This was our 2nd visit in 5 weeks. We have stayed at the Bear over half a dozen times in the past 20 years We had some concerns after our last visit at the end of April but were pleased to see improvements in most areas from the welcome to staffing in the bar. We look forward to seeing this continue ..."

However early evening we heard rustling in the weeds by the lake which was outside the patio doors, on further investigation we saw 10s of rats. We are near water so knew they would be around but to see so many would seem like they have a problem ..."

"Excellent place to stay, clean quiet and felt really safe. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent value for money and a great location. It was about a mile walk to town and fairly pleasant. We love Moreton in Marsh and will definitely come back."
