"This is one our top hotels ever. Close to perfect. Dinner was fantastic and we were there for a Tudor Murder Mystery dinner which was so much fun. Staff was incredible for everything we needed and the room was over the top luxury."

"Stayed in a basic room which was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door didn't shut properly and the taps on the bath were very stiff and hard to switch on and off. The staff were very professional and the bar is large and comfortable seating"

"We liked the old fashioned grandeur of the place although the halls and doors could probably do with a spruce up. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable with tea and biscuits. The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

"Reception staff friendly and helpful Room was clean, however really hot during the Night so we had to keep window open. Little noise from outside. Drinks were expensive from bar but expected."
