"Nice hotel. Clean and largely well maintained. It's a distance from the town centre if that's important to you, but on a frequent bus route and a good cycle network. Small frustrations are the charge for parking (but the cost of the hotel itself was reasonable) and having to book the pool etc, which is only in 30 minute slots, which put us off a bit."

"We were very well received on the first night we arrived. The staff were professional. There was an error on our booking but the staff were able to address it promptly and changed our room immediately. It was a quiet and relaxed stay and we will definitely be going back there in future. My wife and I are very grateful for out stay, it was definitely value for money."

"The hotel, restaurant and bars were lovely. The Terrace is currently undergoing refurbishment. I’m sure it’ll be great once it’s finished. The builders stopped working about 5.30/6ish so it didn’t spoil our experience of staying at 131"
Green Dragon Hotel

"We liked the old fashioned grandeur of the place although the halls and doors could probably do with a spruce up. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable with tea and biscuits. The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

"Girlie weekend that didn’t disappoint! The hotel was amazing!! The staff were all so friendly helpful and professional! The rooms so lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable! Decoration throughout the hotel was very tasteful and modern. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the rooftop bar had a great atmosphere and insane views!! Highly recommend and will certainly be looking to stay in another IHG Hotel."

"We had an overnight stay and we found the staff very friendly and our privilege room was beautiful with a stunning view. We had dinner in a pod which was amazing. Thankyou to everyone for a lovely stay"
