"We had a wonderful stay at this charming and unique coach house. Everything was just wonderful, all the MOD cons, wonderful, shower and comfortable beds not to mention cozy fireplace. Great location for day trips and nice and quiet in the evenings. Beautiful grounds to wander around. Fantastic communication with the host. "This is a beautiful house in a picturesque village surrounded by stunning countryside. The house is really well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. We did country walks from the house on both days we were there and the scenery was spectacular - there is so much to explore and enjoy in this area. I would thoroughly recommend this property and hope we might return there in the future."

"The property has good parking for the property and can accomodate several cars. The house is very attractive and very well equipped for a large group to stay. With all rooms being ensuite it makes staying very easy for everyone. The linens and towels are a very good quality and the beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is well maintained and great fun and private. The crockery, glassware and serving dishes are perfect for celebrating family occasions. The welcome gift was a nice suprise also...

We stay all over UK in these type of properties and this one is far superior, in our opinion, than many others we have stayed. "The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "Locks cottage is perfect for a family get together. It has a great games room with a multi function pool/table tennis/shuffle board table and many indoor and outdoor games to keep children of all ages happy. There is a lovely sitting area for the adults to enjoy and the garden is lovely. Lots of stairs and mind your head on the beams. All in all we would definitely rent it again and are glad we rented an SUV as the track to cottage was challenging."

The owners have really put a lot of effort into making the property a really lovely experience. Their attention to detail with added extras for guests and their dogs was exceptional. "Large roomy well equiped apartment with separate bedroom ( but not with a closing door ),fantastic shower, we had room 9 which was downstairs and had beautiful bay windows with a lovely hillside view , easy onsite parking , loved the dishwasher but missed having a washing machine and oven, initially we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness ( fluff and balls and dust in corners of the bathroom and dropped food under dining table ) a quick clean and all was good "
