"The property was only a short bus ride out of the centre of Newcastle. Whilst the area initially looked run down, the hotel deserves more than a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us early on the morning of our departure so we could collect our hire car at the airport. A short walk up a couple of blocks and you can enjoy some fine Persian food at the Rose Restaurant. We had a peaceful night's sleep on a comfortable bed. The shower was a bit tight, but workable."

"Lovely hotel- myself and my mother had a wonderful weekend. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming- special shout out to the two gentleman at Siren (manager and breakfast supervisor!) who were extremely attentive. We couldn’t find a dinner option in Newcastle due to the half marathon, and the receptionist kindly phoned around to help us- we ended up at Siren and were very happy about it once seated! The food, drinks and service in Siren is amazing! Breakfast has lots of options on the menu and good breakfast buffet. Only thing about the room and stay was WiFi that was unstable (especially in the evening) which made it hard to do work/etc. And 5G didn’t stretch well to that segment of hotel. If this can be fixed would definitely be useful. Lovely room and bathroom and products- shower is amazing!! Overall wonderful stay and the staff really made it!"
