(17 reviews) Staff, 24hr security and room were all excellent. Room was very clean and new. Water pressure in primary bedroom was poor however, and all guests had to use the hallway bath. Can't beat the price for the accommodations. Also proximity to the Keefer Bar was excellent. I'd highly recommend a stop there in the evening for drinks. Biggest issue was the number of homeless right outside the entrance to the hotel. Lots of visible drug usage when we arrived and over our balcony, back alley. That area near main and hastings is not great come to find out. Wish we had done more research on location before booking. Security did their best to keep it clear for guests. It is close proximity / walking distance to great shops and restaurants in Gastown and DT Vanc. Just head away from main/hastings.
