"Lovely hotel with incredible views over the sea, very nice pool, good location with restaurants etc nearby and a 15 mins walk to the main part of Puerto de la Cruz (a bit steep on the way back). Plenty of parking within 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast is good, only negative is that the lifts are quite slow. "

The rooms couldn't probably do with a slight facelift but it's part of the charm and they're clean, which matters more. I had to switch rooms a few nights in because there was a major leak in the bathroom, these things happen. More importantly, the staff were so helpful and ensured my replacement room had an equally good view. The balcony rooms are 100% worth it. I had such a good time staying here and I've stayed at 5 different hotels in the area. It has a traditional feel, it's family run and there's so much history."
