"This hotel was ideal for what I needed. Great location, close to the ocean, beaches, tons of restaurants, laundry, and easy walk to tourist areas. The hotel itself was quaint but ideal for me. I stayed two weeks and no complaints. E-bike s were free for use, breakfast was sufficient, the balcony has great views. The only knock would be exercise machines needs to be replaced they are not functional and present a safety hazard.
This place won’t disappoint. Amazing staff and amenities."

Had a lovely time at the Mencey. Staff absolutely lovely and so friendly, hotel both grand in its colonnaded porches and cool inner courtyard, and comfortable, with many places to have drinks and food in the shade and chill. Spa very well kitted out (extra €18 a day) breakfast spread faultless. Grilled Seafood served on the pool terrace is particularly good.
Pool is great, using salt water instead of chlorine. Food in both terrace and main restaurant delicious.
