10/10 Excellent

"Clean rooms and helpful staff"

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower

10/10 Excellent

"Our Stay at APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower – Tokyo, Japan The rooms are definitely tiny, but I knew that when I booked. What I didn’t know was just how incredibly comfortable the beds would be! After all the walking we did every day, a good night’s sleep was all I cared about. The bed felt like sleeping on a big, fluffy cloud! We didn’t purchase the breakfast option, but we decided to try it one morning. Honestly, we were disappointed. It was very expensive, and the food selection was limited, especially if you’re looking for American-style breakfast options. With so many great places to eat nearby, I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra money on the hotel breakfast. One thing I really appreciated was having a laundry room right on the premises. Also, I have to give them credit for their toiletries! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they provide are top-notch, so there’s really no need to pack your own. I didn’t get to experience the onsen because we have tattoos, and unfortunately, there were no private onsen options available. The location, however, was perfect! You’re just steps away from the train station, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! And honestly, it would be for one simple reason: that bed! After long days of exploring Tokyo, having such a comfortable place to rest made all the difference. My Tip: If you’re planning to stay here, PACK LIGHT! The rooms are very small, and there’s not much"

Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

8/10 Good

"The hotel was okay overall. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst either. Some things could be improved, but my stay was decent. Nothing too special, rooms are clean but small and the laundry is small basically 3 small machines so better got to the laundry early if you need to wash some clothes."

Daiichi Hotel Tokyo

8/10 Good

"The hotel itself was clean and very well maintained. Location was super convenient. Loved the fact that it's connected to the Shimbashi station underground, although the signage in the underground shopping area wasn't the greatest, and it took us quite some time to find our way the first time. Overall we're very happy with this hotel. Our only complaint was with housekeeping--We had our room cleaned every other day, and they didn't do a good job. No vacuuming of the carpeted floors, and even the tables were not wiped clean. The lousy job was unexpected for a 4-star hotel in Tokyo."
