Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean and well maintained and the comfort of the bed was amazing. Check in staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was Self service but superb. We didn’t use the spa on this occasion as we were there to attend a wedding but have used it previously and it is top notch. My only bug bear is that due to not booking direct I had to pay for parking at £12. This didn’t sit right with me because if using the spa, parking is free, if I had just attended the wedding and had not stayed the night parking would have been free. So then when I give them more custom of staying the night I had to pay because I hadn’t booked directly."

"Staff very helpful, lovely food and priced very good, good drinks service but felt bar man a bit over worked on his own but handled it very well. nice atmosphere."

"Great location, very handy having a parking spot in Ambleside. Well situated, short walk into town and very handy for the cinemas & restaurants. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked to order. Lovely big room with a great view. Thought it might be noisy as it's by the main road but this wasn't a problem at all."

"Lovely hotel, very well situated and very friendly staff. Our room was located outside of the main building with private parking right outside. We also had a small private seating area outside which was really nice. The room had everything we needed aside from shower gel so make sure to bring your own!"
