Beautiful location. Greeted by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. So incredibly helpful. Room was perfect. Very comfortable. Breakfast was a Full-Cooked and was delicious. Extremely large portions. Would highly recommend this little gem. Excellent value for money.

Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Staff could not have been more helpful. Home from home with super public areas and wonderful food. A gem we will visit again soon!

Tons of character

I stayed in the annex luxury apartments which are fantastic. Amazing comfortable king size bed. Luxury bathroom and living area - like a suite set up. Two large TVs and kitchen - the sort of place you would buy.

Lovely well maintained Victorian house, don't change anything, it's really nice.

Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. After settling in to our room we went down to the bar area which was clean and had a nice country inn atmosphere with the log burner keeping...

My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. We were greeted by Ian and Hazel who showed us to our room and they freely offered us everything that we had hoped for. Great location (10 minutes from M6)in a small English village surrounded by fields, fells and farms. The hosts are brilliant and provide great service. The fish is to die for. The bar is used by the locals who were very friendly unlike some places where they treat you as an intruder.
