"A lovely countryside farmhouse b and b. The landlady is friendly and helpful, keen to make sure all your needs are met. My room was very comfortable, clean, warm and well appointed. "We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. "

"This is our third stay in the cottage and now feels like home from home. We were initially a little disappointed on arrival as the patio doors were so dirty (from the nesting birds) we had to clean the them ourselves in order to see out. The cottage could also benefit from new pillows as they are very flat. Other than that had a very enjoyable visit made even better by seeing a red Squirrel in the garden on last day that and nice weather made the holiday for us. "
