"It’s hard to comment properly as we arrived late in the dark but even still the staff on the desk were so friendly greeting us, and super helpful and understanding when I realised I’d made a mistake with the booking. It’s lovely and quiet despite being so close to the motorway. Immediately put at ease and reassured that it’s a great place to stay, even if as it is for us just an overnight stopover mid journey. "

"Very welcoming and friendly staff, there was a small problem with the original room which couldn’t be fixed, but the staff were excellent and immediately moved us into a nearby room as a complimentary upgrade. Handled very professionally and the same staff member checked in with us later in our stay. The hotel itself is lovely, impressive building in a stunning location, with excellent views from the room we stayed in and from the lounge/restaurant "
