"It's a great pub/hotel. I always stay there in the area (usually taking friends to climb Pendle Hill.) There's always a friendly welcome, good food, and the bedrooms are excellent"

"The room was nice and large with a comfortable king size bed. It was in a lovely position. Most of the staff were friendly. The food was fine and not expensive. The breakfast sausages were good."

"I booked a twin room which was clean and a good size. The mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable so I swoped it with the pull out bed underneath our bed. The mattress was smaller than the original mattress and was too small for the base but it was very comfortable, a good mattress. I didn’t mention this to the staff at the hotel. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work efficiently but otherwise excellent. The meals were very good and delicious."

"Stayed for one night in a double room. Ok size for price, clean and all amenities supplied, tea, coffee, iron, iron board and toiletries. But noisy next to the road but ok after 10pm."

"This is an absolutely charming inn attached to a pub and restaurant. The room is cozy and updated. The restaurant food is local, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Sunday roast was just delicious. You’re in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a number of beautiful walks/hikes right outside the door."
